Call for IT Expert

“Women’s Information-Analytical Network” NGO (WomenNet NGO) is seeking a Gender Expert to support the activities of the project “Promoting Gender-Sensitive Communication and Countering Disinformation in Electoral Processes.”

The project is implemented within the framework of the “ProElect – Promote accountability in Electoral processes in EaP through increased participation and capacity of civic actors” is a regional project run by the Transatlantic Foundation in partnership with ERIM (Equal Rights and Independent Media) and funded by the European Union.

The project aims to ensure that civil society actors in the Eastern Neighbourhood are engaged, capable and knowledgeable in monitoring elections and promoting democratic accountability mechanisms.​

Duration of engagement: up to 5 months (December 2025 – May 2026)
Location: Yerevan, Armenia (partial remote engagement possible)

Key responsibilities of the IT Expert:

  • develop an interactive browser-based web application supporting gender-sensitive reporting,
  • integrate detection and guidance features for identifying biased or harmful language,
  • ensure user-friendly functionality for journalists, editors, and media professionals,
  • conduct testing and finalize deployment of the application.
