At the recent workshop titled “Women as Targets of Hate Speech and Disinformation,” the LAMP educational-analytical platform was presented for the first time. The platform is designed to combat various manifestations of discriminatory discourse against women.
Monitoring and research conducted in Armenia’s media landscape prove that the reproduction and spread of hate speech, discrimination, gender stereotypes, and disinformation in the media and on social networks negatively impact women’s political participation, including within electoral processes.
LAMP (Learning Application for Monitoring and Prevention of Hate Speech and Discrimination) is an AI-powered educational and analytical platform. It serves as a unique tool for combating hate speech against women, gender-based disinformation, and discriminatory communication.

The platform also features LAMP application, which helps analyze uploaded texts to identify problematic language. It provides comments, information on relevant legal regulations, and suggests more respectful and non-discriminatory alternatives.
LAMP is intended for a broad audience: journalists, editors, public and political figures, as well as students active on digital platforms. The tool is especially valuable for those seeking to improve their communication quality and develop more conscious and responsible speech.
LAMP will help participants effectively respond to the challenges of hate speech and disinformation within their communities and professional environments. The platform’s importance is particularly evident today, as hate speech and disinformation can spread rapidly and have a widespread impact.
This platform will contribute to a fairer, more inclusive, and balanced public discourse by helping every user become more mindful and responsible in their communication.
Every contribution is vital in building a fair and respectful information environment.

The LAMP platform was created by the “Women’s Information and Analytical Network” NGO (WomenNet NGO) within the framework of the project “Promoting Gender-Sensitive Communication and Preventing Disinformation in Electoral Processes.” This project is implemented under the “ProElect – Promote accountability in Electoral processes in EaP through increased participation and capacity of civic actors” programme, carried out in partnership with the Transatlantic Foundation and ERIM, and funded by the European Union.
This platform was created and maintained with the financial support of the European Union and Equal Rights & Independent Media (ERIM). Its contents are the sole responsibility of Women’s Information-Analytical Network NGO and do not necessarily reflect the views of the EU and ERIM.
